Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco and moved to California at the age of five. She was raised mainly in Orange County. She received her big break acting after graduating from University of California San Diego, in 2015. Pernas she had appeared in brief appearances on NCIS as well as Leverage prior to her debut in the part in the role of Marisa on The Young and the Restless and was an established face on the soap opera. Following her departure from soap operas she was offered an appearance as Catalina in Jane the Virgin. The actress speaks four languages. She's since been seen in The Brave with Hannah Rivera in addition to The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between the years of 2019 and 2020 Pernas played Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas is engaged to Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The relationship began following Chrishell Stause and This Is Us actress split in the month of November. Then, in May 2021 news broke that Pernas Hartley was recently engaged in private.
