Brisbane is the place where she was raised. The daughter of an English father. Clemens was working as an actor on Australian television when she was in high school. Clemens starred with Xandrie as Xandrie, in the film Wasted on the Young (2010). Clemens was in Camilla Dickinson along with Gregg Sulkin and Cary Elwes. Samantha Mathis also appeared. The drama was adapted of the novel written in 1951 by Madeleine L'Engle, a young adult novelist. In Silent Hill: Revelation 3D she played a teenager Heather Mason. Silent Hill 3 was the film. Silent Hill 3 was the sequel to Silent Hill. Based on the Silent Hill 3 survival horror game, the film was in the vein of the popular video games Silent Hill 3. Clemens was the lead character in Silent Hill 3. Valentine Wannop the young suffragette Valentine Wannop. Clemens had a role as a character in Luke Evans' 2012 horror flick No One Lives. Also, she starred in The Great Gatsby based upon F. Scott Fitzgerald's same-named novel. She played Catherine the sister of Myrtle Wilson played by Isla Fisher. Clemens plays Tawney Talbot in Rectify (2013), created by Ray McKinnon for the Sundance Channel. Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham Zachary Quinto and Clemens star in The Girl Who Invented Kissing, an independent film.
