Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her writing and design. She advocates animal rights. Her films include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). New York was her home and she was raised in an artistic environment. She began working as a photography assistant and after that she moved on to modeling and acting. MacGraw was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major hit and fetched her worldwide fame and several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. She was named the best female box-office actress in the world in just three films. In 1972 her hand-footprints as well as her signature were inscribed at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She has starred in several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography released in 1991. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
